Denise Dias (rhymes with bias) is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Clothing and Textiles and a recent graduate of Kansas State University with a Master's Degree in Fashion Merchandising. Denise began her Extension Career in 1996 in Eastern Kansas. She has been in Wichita for the past nine years. She is known for her weekly T.V. spot on Channel 12"s Newstalk, on Thursdays at noon. She has done this segment for the past eight years and shares hints and tips on the home. Denise enjoys teaching sewing and housing classes for Extension. Denise is a Home Sewing Association - Certified Sewing Instructor. She is presently serving on the Board of Directors for American Sewing Guild and supports the local Wichita Sewing Guild Chapter. Denise is married with two teenage children and enjoys sewing, gardening and spending time with her family and pets.
